Introduction

Er wird umgangssprachlich oft als Gelbflecken-Drachenkopf bezeichnet.

Sie halten sich laut Literatur gerne in den Ästen von Poccilipora-Korallen in 2 bis 15 Meter Tiefe auf. 

Ich hatte das Glück einen ziemlich frei fotografieren zu können, normalerweise zeigen sie sich nie so offen.

Giftig.

It is often referred to colloquially as the yellow-spotted scorpionfish.

According to the literature, they like to live in the branches of Poccilipora corals at depths of 2 to 15 metres. 

I was lucky enough to be able to photograph one quite freely, normally they never show themselves so openly.

Poisonous.
