This species is also known as the striped ribbon snail.

Golden-brown solid and heavy shell, 

Thin brown lines arranged in pairs can be seen on its surface.

In various regions they were used as trumpets by sawing off the tip.

Turreted latirus or Tower latirus

Maximum size: 3 cm +

The spindle-shaped, double-conical shells of this snail have an elongated thread,

an oval shell mouth and a medium to long siphonal canal.

The bright red snails have a small, narrow head with short antennae,

at the base of which the eyes are located on the outside.

Carnivores.
