Maximum depth: no depth information on the net or in books.

It differs from other Armina species by its black foot,

which is bordered by an orange-red band.

Its rhinophores are black with an orange-yellow tip.

Scotti's armina

Maximum length: 5 cm

Maximum depth: 11- 25 m

Black back with pale yellow grooves forming three rounded spots.

The mouth veil is white with a pale blue band and yellow edge

The rhinophores have orange tips.

They regularly feed on sea feathers.

White cream to bluish grey, undulating mantle margin

with flat tubercles whose tips have light orange rings.

The foot has a thin orange-coloured mantle margin.

Closely spaced rhinophores with black tips and fronts.
