Maximum length: 6 cm
Depth: 0.5 - 10 m
Widely distributed in the tropical Indo-West Pacific.
Mostly dark brown.
A white nodular line runs across the center of the mantle.
A large number of tubercles are distributed over the mantle.
The tips of the tubercles have needles, making the snails rough to the touch.
Small white spots can be seen on the mantle, gills and rhinophores
Juvenile specimens are often much lighter in color than older ones.
Feeds on sponges.

Maximum length: 120 mm
Light yellowish white body with numerous small brown and white spots and brown pustules.
The gills and rhinophores are almost completely dark brown in colour.
When the snail moves, it clearly flattens out, probably imitating a flatworm.

This snail is brown to light red-brown and has dark brown spots,
although it has been noted that animals found among Halimeda kanaloana algae
are lighter colored than animals found in rocky areas.

Mostly yellowish body color with dark brown spots.
Large tubercles on the mantle, at the end of which are papillae filled with fluid.
There appear to be several color variations of this snail, ranging up to reddish brown.
Young animals are lighter in color, usually whitish to light yellow.
Whitish-grey gills with white edges.
