Loimia medusa ( Medusenwurm )

Maximale Größe: Körper 30 cm Tentakel bis zu 1,2 m

Er kommt häufig in Gezeitentümpeln, flachen Riffen, Korallen- und Muschelbruch vor.

Die weißen Tentakeln werden zum Fressen aus dem Versteck gestreckt.

Nur dieser Teil des Wurmes ist sichtbar.

Aufgrund der vielen dünnen Tentakeln, wird dieser Wurm auch als Spagettiwurm bezeichnet.

It is often found in tide pools, shallow reefs, coral and shell fragments.

The white tentacles are stretched out of their hiding place to feed.

Only this part of the worm is visible.

Due to the many thin tentacles, this worm is also known as the spaghetti worm.
