Diurnal, feeds on fish and crustaceans.

You can get close to them if you swim slowly.

Ihr Mantel hat große zipfelartige Auswüchse.

Kann blitzschnell leuchtend gelbe, rote und weiße, dabei oft pulsierende Muster produzieren.

Ihr Biss ist äusserst giftig.

Its mantle has large, pointed outgrowths.

Can produce bright yellow, red and white, often pulsating patterns at lightning speed.

Its bite is extremely poisonous.

Die beiden Tiere auf meinen Fotos hatten max. 1 - 2 cm.

Kleiner abgerundeter Körper, vollständig mit dunklen Flecken bedeckt.

Färbung oft irisierend blau-grün.

Nachtaktiv, bewohnt Schlamm- und Sandgrund, in den er sich bei Gefahr eingraben kann.

Stark bodenorientiert.

Small rounded body, completely covered with dark spots.

Colouration often iridescent blue-green.

Nocturnal, inhabits mud and sandy bottoms, into which it can burrow in case of danger.

Strongly bottom-orientated.

Sehr schwer zu fotografieren, da sie bei Licht immer wieder im Sand verschwindet.
